Ten 3 and 4 storey luxury town houses for Martin Grant Homes.
Martin Grant Homes (formerly Ensign Group) commissioned Kay Elliott Architects to design a new luxury housing development on the former Hotel Riviera site, with prominent views across the harbour front.
This planning sensitive site was also constrained by large existing retaining walls to the front and side and an equally high cliff face to the rear.
The completed design comprised of eight 3 and 4 storey town houses arranged in a crescent with a further two 3 storey houses subservient to the main block, with garaging to the rear.
The ground storey of the crescent was clad in limestone salvaged from the original hotel. |
