Conversion of former Princes Hotel to office accommodation for the headquarters of a national beverage retailer.
The project involved conversion works to a dilapidated Victorian hotel to form executive style offices for a national beverage retailer. The offices are located in a prominent position with superb views overlooking Torbay.
The project involved minor structural works to safeguard the existing building, and sympathetic restoration works to retain the existing architectural character, so as to afford prestigious office accommodation. The project was undertaken to meet a tight deadline imposed by the Client to suit the company’s relocation programme.
The interior design scheme for the new office accommodation has ensured that the offices are decorated and furnished in a contemporary style within the Victorian building. The project also involved extensive mechanical and electrical service installation works.
The development was partly funded by gaining planning permission for luxury townhouses on surplus land within the site. |
